Meet Our People

Stephen McMorrow, CPA, ASA, CBA
Stephen specializes in business valuations and income tax and business planning for individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses. His approach to client satisfaction stresses planning, attention to detail and achievement of excellence. Born in Los Angeles, Stephen is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He obtained his CPA license in 1979, and also holds the credentials of Certified Business Appraiser and Accredited Senior Appraiser (business valuations). Stephen is a member of the California Society of CPAs, the Institute of Business Appraisers, and the American Society of Appraisers.

Sherri Drifka, Partner, Accounting Manager
Sherri is responsible for client accounting assignments. She prepares financial statements, processes payroll and prepares quarterly payroll and sales tax returns for various firm clients. As a long-time Quickbooks advisor, Sherri assists clients with their in-house financial reporting needs, often fulfilling the role of controller for those clients.

As a California Registered Tax Preparer, Sherri is responsible for the preparation of client business and individual income tax returns. She also assists many of these clients with annual tax planning and projections.

Steven Huber, CPA, Partner & Tax Manager
Steven has been with the firm since 1997 and has worked in the accounting profession since 1988. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, San Diego. He manages BMA's tax department and provides each client with personal service in a wide range of accounting and tax areas including general business consulting, financial statement preparation, periodic accounting, Quickbooks and accounting software consulting/assistance, estate planning, and real estate transactions. He provides income tax services for individuals, business (sole-proprietorships, partnerships, LLC's and corporations), and trusts/estates.

Marianne Prudhomme, CPA
Marianne graduated cum laude from the University of LaVerne with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and has been a practicing certified public accountant since 1992. Marianne, who joined the firm in 1998, specializes in financial statement preparation and individual and business tax return preparation.

Bonnie Beltran
Bonnie is our administrative manager and supports the day-to-day operations of the firm. She joined BMA in 2004 and has more than 25 years of administrative management experience. Bonnie coordinates the administrative functions of the firm and ensures that resources are employed efficiently to meet our clients' needs.
